Evidence

Anyone in a relationship needs to keep written communication and evidence. Text messages, emails, letters, photos with time stamps all of it. Anytime there is an argument, anytime there isn’t, just everything. Even when you are good, just keep it all. You never know when you will need it. As a partner to a father who went through Family Court, it was the mother that dug her own hole with her lies. I almost lost everything, my own children, because she made many abuse claims against my partner and then against me too. She had S23 reporters convinced too. It was claims and dates that threw the judge and lawyers out in the end. But it was my partner and I that had to get the evidence. We were MUD until we proved otherwise. And it was information the s23 reporter was privy to but chose not to use.

Keep yourself safe. The family court  was made to support the mothers. It is extremely biased.
